Intelligent Hauntings

This type of haunting is perhaps the most widely accepted kind of ghostly activity. In "Intelligent Haunts" the spirit or entity is aware of the living world and interacts with it.

During an investigation this can be seen through EVP sessions, and K II meters lighting up in response to specific questions asked.

Sometimes Intelligent haunts happen because of a murder, traumatic event or unfinished business. It is believed that at the time of death, the spirit refused to pass over because it is looking for closure to the event(s).

Theorists believe spirits often linger because of the emotions that tie them to the earth, due to anger or love. It may not be the spirit did not pass because they couldn’t... it may have been because they did not want to. There is the possibility the spirit did not cross into the next level because they did not realize they were dead, possibly because of sudden or unexpected death and separation from life took place.

These Intelligent spirits are not evil or demonic. Spirits seem to exhibit human personalities and if the spirit was a kind and caring person in life, most likely the spirit will hang onto those traits.
